Harrison County Welcomes New Chancery Clerk

The Harrison County Chancery Clerks office welcomes our newest Chancery Clerk, Angela Thrash. Angela takes office as the 14th Harrison County Chancery Clerk, and is making a little history as the first female Chancery Clerk in Harrison County!

Angela has worked in the Chancery Clerks office for the last 28 years, and knows this office inside and out. Over the years, she has worked in every department within the office, eventually assuming the role of Chief Deputy. Angela looks forward to continuing, and increasing, the efficiency and functionality of the Chancery Clerks office.

With 28 years as Chancery Clerk, John McAdams has chosen to retire. Johns leadership and vision completely changed how this office operated. John has brought in technology to streamline the recording and redemption processes, and made every attempt to make the Chancery Clerks office as transparent as possible. We wish you well on your retirement!
